I never got an answer last time I asked: if Axel's "path" isn't dark or light, does that make it neutral by default, or what? If so, what precisely does this mean?
No....You have to be one of the three. Everyone is. I know it's quite judging on characters but don't blame me, Kingdom Hearts by concept is very black and white. If your not dark or light your neutral.
Neutral is you work for yourself or a goal that is not orientated toward helping countless others or hurting countless others basically.
Example: Flare and Nero's goal is find their siblings and keep them safe and perhaps if possible return home (I believe, sorry if I am wrong Flare!) So this is neutral. They are not out to purge the worlds of heartless or help the heartless. Their goal could be seen as self centered but not malicious.

Larxene's path is Dark. She is out to hurt and use people for her own benefit to gain power in the world, this is her true nature. She will always take the chance to betray someone if she will benefit greatly from it. Her trust is unpredictable and of all the nobodies, she is the only one who does not want her heart back (because having a heart hurts too much - it's a really tragic reason but true).
Demyx on the other hand is Neutral. He really only wants his heart back however he's selfish and cowardly and will always put his own needs before anyone elses. What keeps him from being Dark though is he doesn't want to hurt people.
Sephiroth is neutral in his core (Path). His intentions are to seek his personal goals of vengeance and do what he wants to accomplish, no matter what the means. So long as he gets whatever he sets his mind to. This is neutral. He is not picking a side of whether to help people or destroy them. He only wants what he wants.
Outwardly, his alliance is dark since more often than not his goals to be accomplished involve hurting others. He has no issue doing so.
What makes his Path not dark is the fact he doesn't actively seek to hurt people but rather it is more of a necessity to achieve his goals because more often people others stand in the way of that.

Okay, before I jump the gun here, I'm going to assume no one yet knows Larxene (or Demyx but he'll be around later in other threads) has been returned from the void/death except the one who resurrected the Organization, correct? Do the Org member even know who brought them back or did they reappear in the spot of their demise or close to it? Were they all brought back at once? How long ago?
Sorry for lots of questions but I want to make sure things all mesh.
The org members do not know each member is back, they did not all come back at the same time (I'm basically blaming this on when members join and characters are taken, lazyness yes.) They would have appeared where they had died (Oblivion or World that Never Was, RG for Demyx, I don't know about Axel being he was in the between..)
They do not know why they were brought back at all. Basically they bleedin clueless and wondering why the hell they are back and still without a heart.
At the beginning of the RG thread it was two weeks sense the end of KH2, considering Larxene died in Chain of memories that would have been a year or more (Don't ask me to know cronology, I fail at math hardcore.)
Because Radiant Garden is lost, I'm going to assume Demyx returned before it fell (since that is where he died) and it does make sense for him to have fled elsewhere or even to be trying to 'live' normally. Poor guy though, coming back without a heart can't be encouraging. We can work him in the plot as it progresses.
Yeah, CoM was a year before KH2. I'm guessing the events in KH2 took some time as well so they'll be major time displacement for Larxene. She thinks Oblivion fell and Sora took out the Organization.. somehow. She has no idea of how it really went down.
Regarding what you were saying about the Org appearing where they had died... Roxas never died, per say, so how would that work? Would he just appear on Destiny Islands or something?
Sorry, irrelevant question I know, but I was just curious.
Well considering we had another plot before this which explained it, this one doesn't. You were seperated from Sora but I don't know past there, sorry! The first plot had a far better explaination of exactly what happened with Roxas and Sora but it was trashed so now I have no clue.
I mean you were seperated like Namine from your somebody for the same purposes as the rest of the org were brought back though of course that purpose is unknown.
The Hollows are neutral and they don't like either Dark or Light. Essentially by default, since Roxas is a Nobody isn't he classified as Dark no matter how good his intentions may turn out to be? At some point he existed and now there's a split in Sora that can only be covered but not completely erased. The merge left a sort of split that the Hollows can exploit.
Of course I'm just deliberating. i dont want to force anyone's hand or say someone belongs to such and such an alliegance.
Achually by default Nobodies are considered neutral, that is why the Princess of Twilight brought them back thinking they would help the realm of twilight. Of course this is not exactly the case, as some nobodies are dark or tend to lean toward the light. By default they are neutral but they shift alignment.
At least that is what I see *Shrugs* and based the plot around.
Not having a heart to possess Light or Darkness would put them as Neutral. However Nobodies have personalities and goals, unlike Heartless who are described as "mindless". By default, they should always work for their own goals or hold those most important. In this sense, Light and Dark seem to come into play depending on how they want to achieve those goals.
I would say yes that way more characters can meet up and sort have a semi team going. That way when the Joker attacks again the characters are sort of forced into helping each other out.
Larxene you are in the same area as Reno and I because of the diner so if you wish you could interrupt us wondering what the hell is going on.
Flare and Nero can join up with Roxas and Axel that way we have two teams of three. They could be working independently as so they get used to the ones in their team, but then realize there is another team out for the same goal?
Just a suggestion to everyone.

Hun it may bother you but don't be an a$$ about it. Would not be easier to contact who did in pm and remind them then make a spectacle about it? And seriously, everytime I interacted with you I had to go read that portion of your profile so I could remember. It is very minor detail that is very very easily forgettable by other players.
