Although alot of work has gone in this plot from many of us, and the posts in the plot thread are drop dead nummie I am wondering if it is best to have it?
It is by what I have heard scaring some newbies because it is so intricate and intense. What have you all to say on this? Should we keep it and just change the rules hoping the new/improved rules will make the difference in getting more activity. Or should we ditch the plot as well?
This of course leads into, those in the plot right now do you guys want to stop or do you want to go on? Should we wait for Riku if the majority wants to go on?
If you choose New plot, you better help me make one or Leon shall come after you with his gunblade!!!
That is okey, you make an adorable bull so you are forgiven!
Well really, what was going to happen was I was going to get this one a bit further (The KH characters thread) Then bring in a new thread in Traverse Town for all FF characters who were not in KH. (Max of 7 characters to the thread though as more then that and oh wow...)
And I do expect you to read all of the plot stuff and the stickied threads in Even'Tide. If after that you are still confused then ask away. But I do require some reading on others parts.
Also, on the question of Riku... has anyone been able to reach Riku at all? In any form? Do we know what's up..? A band-aide fix could be if the character is injured in the plot, then the other players might be able to post around the person missing and unable to post. Just a possibility to consider if something like this happens again and we can get permission from the player..? What does everyone think?

Nothing, even her AIM is saying it's a service unavailable right now. I was thinking of just having her be in combat for a while but that wont be something we can get away with for to long. Maybe two or three posts a piece then the battling will be over and I'll have to decide what to do :(
If we can get permission from the player yah that would be a good thing to do, it just seems alot if someone stops posting in the rps they stop posting altogher o.0.
Has anyone actually tried emailing Riku? I know I haven't... I sent a PM a couple weeks ago, but that's it. Very strange really.
As far as plot goes - I love how fantastically intricate the current plot is and would like to see us continue as far as we can. However, I do think the whole battles and writing battles is terribly intimidating for people. Even amongst ourselves, we either are not overly fond of battle sequences, are inexperienced in writing them or simply feel we're not very good at writing them. IF the current plot falls through, I would recommend going for a plot that is not going to involve fighting or battles being a rather vital part of the plot.

Yah a plot without combat is diffacult in a combat based system (KH/FF) But I do think many would rather it. I wrote my first combat entire post today! (It isn't complete fail..at least to me )
I will try to email her today.

I didn't mind the plot, but yes... the length of each post was a little intimidating, as I'm still in school, I'm trying to balance a lot of things, mainly school, work and money issues. Damn Japan trip.
But if you are continuing the old plot, I would like a place.
As for the length of the posts - it's not as if you have to write one of these every day. For the most part, even when the Plot Thread was moving quickly (for us) it didn't require an individual character to reply more than I think twice a week. If you write fanfic or even post in other places, that's really that much.

And really, the next thread in Traverse Town doesn't have to be that epicly huge for responses. We kind of were just feeding off of each other in Radiant Garden, we had some awesome lengths going on in there ^_^
But in Traverse Town it depends on the others in the thread *shrugs* And no that thread is not open yet I would like to get a little further in the RG one then I will be asking who would like to participate in the next large plot thread in Traverse Town. The max a thread is 7 people though (Which shouldn't be a problem I would think.)
I blabber in everything I write, so I don't really mind having a certain amount to post, since I usually go over. I think there was only once -- when I had a terrible case of writer's block -- that I gave Nathy a kind of short and very sucky reply. ^^; But I'm back to bigger posts -- mostly because, like you said, I feed off of whoever I'm with's post. I think it's fun casually RP-ing, since that's all I've been doing and it really is enjoyable -- but the plot is important to, well, the plot, so I guess you shouldn't change it -- you know, unless it becomes impossible to do for this reason or that. ^^
Okay, well I haven't been really following the plot at the moment. Year ten work and all. But I think having a mian plot is a good idea. And I like Reno's idea too about a sub plot. I also just had an idea. Getting involved in the plot should be optional, cause right now it will be hard for me to get involved since I am barely on.
I am taking the story so far home on my USB when I leave the library and I am going to get a feel for it. I have a feeling Flare and Nero are rearing to get involved since I recently read the plot again and finally get it. (takes me a few reads to get these things)
Alright if you guys want to into the plot I need feedback in the new thread Traverse Town in The Strategy section! I need ideas before I am opening that thread.
I would not mind being in on the plot. I will have a lot of reading to do on what we already have. I will make sure I have that down. I will also contribute ideas when I get the chance.
