Yes but this is only in america they are going this extreme. I am sorry as many of you are from the U.S but that says something that the U.S thinks they have to go to such extremes and yet still nothing is really being done about the real threats.

I'm with Larx on this - don't get me wrong, I do read Sora/Riku fanfics, but the ones I like the best generally deal with them at age 17-18+. Anything younger that involves smut, I kind of tend to pass over unless it's exceedingly well-written.

Sadly, the US is hypersensitive to a lot of issues - the whole child pornography laws were put in place for a reason but have now gone overboard thanks to people being disgusting predators. Yes, it's fiction. Yes, it's the written word. However, there's nothing we can really do.

As for Japan's age of consent? It kinda makes me cringe to be completely honest. Then again, I'm the one left going "O__o wtf?" at kids starting to have "sex lives" at 14ish, so go figure.

And to think, I waited until I was 20 =/

I was just reading over the last few posts... that's really sort of ridiculous, the age law thing. I mean even to me, sweet, naive me, *coughcough* it's a little... desperate, or something to that effect.

And I do agree with Nath. I live in a small town, and majority of the girls have nothing better to do than to do, well, that. I look at all the girls in middle school, years 7-9, and they already have their own stories to share. And they're only like, 12-13. It scares me. I swear I'm one of the only girls in my grade still with my virtue intact. Damn proud of it, too.

So the beach trip was canceled since no one can seem to get their acts together. It frustrates me, but I won't go into it.

It is only an hour and a half drive for me. Its not that big of thing to go there for a day and come back. I am tempted to just go to Charleston on my own some other week when I am off without them.

I have a Luxord and he scares me. I won't want to imagine him drunk because he is strange enough as is sober.

I think Kallion would kill Sephiroth or at least try to outright, but I may be up for sending De Nam his way, but it would have to be a Twilight Town thread. At least until the poor boy gets his Gummi Ship built so he can leave.
